Volunteer Opportunities

United Fund's Day of Caring 2024 was a success! 23 projects, with the help of 113 volunteers, were completed throughout the county at 13 agencies. A special thank you to Baker Tilly, Delta Faucet, Duke Energy, Edward Jones, Farm Credit Mid-America, First Financial Bank, GECOM, Greensburg Community High School, JCBank, North Decatur High School, RBSK Partners, and South Decatur High School. This event is a tradition for many area companies and organizations. Projects ranged from food prep, weeding and trimming shrubs and flower beds, power washing, washing windows and baseboards, organizing, and painting. In addition, teams painted playground equipment, installed transfers on shirts and hats, and cleaned two firehouses and many trucks.
